Everyone is subject to their own perceptions, misperceptions, and biases based on our different cultural contexts. Unity Uncovered's podcast works to discuss misperceptions between Yemeni and American young adults about each others' respective countries and cultural backgrounds. Through finding common ground and passions bridges of understanding can be built between these two areas of the world and the people who live there. By discussing examples of stereotypes and misperceptions in the first half of the podcast, the latter part of the episode explores how individuals can combat the misperceptions about other people that they have been influenced by.

The COVID-19 pandemic, also known as the coronavirus pandemic, has had a significant impact on the world since its emergence in late 2019. The virus has impacted Khaled's life mentally and physically. Khaled is twenty- five and this podcast will talk about him. Khaled suspected that he had difficulty breathing. He was feeling a little afraid for himself, but there was a health support team who provided him with psychological support, which made him feel hopeful. When he left the hospital, he felt as if he was born again. Overall, the COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenging time for individuals and communities worldwide, but it has also shown resilience, and the strength of human spirit in the face of adversity.
